There are many options for getting to Salt Spring Island. 

BC Ferries  provides many options from either Vancouver or Vancouver Island:

• Vancouver (Tsawwassen terminal) to Long Harbour on Salt Spring [a direct route]
• Vancouver (Tsawwassen terminal) to Swartz Bay (near Victoria on Vancouver Island), then catch the ferry to Fulford Harbour on Salt Spring
• West Vancouver (Horseshoe Bay) to Departure Bay (Nanaimo), then a 55-minute drive to Crofton terminal where you catch the ferry to Vesuvius Bay on SSI

The BlackBall Ferry Line offers sailings from Port Angeles, Washinton to Victoria. From Victoria, you would drive to Swartz Bay and take the 25-minute ferry to SSI

Harbour Air offers flights from Vancouver and Richmond to Salt Spring Island

The race will start and finish at Drummond Park, Fulford Harbour, Salt Spring Island. 

• This is also the location of the athlete and coaches meeting held during the Saturday evening BBQ.
