The 2014 Fall Rowing Rendezvous at Stetson University is ready to GO! We are thrilled to be ready for a wonderful weekend of racing on the St. Johns River and Lake Beresford in DeLand Florida. In the first year of the regatta in 2013 we supported nearly 800 athletes and over 2000 spectatures.
We are excited to have the regatta again run smoothly with good racing on three event lengths and two days of fun on the water. Racing will highlight a 5000m head race, a 750m sprint race for anyone interested in racing (no charge) and a 17k loop adventure row around Hontoon State Park. In 2013 the winning team of Sarasota Junior Women set the course record in 67minutes.
Food will be served to registered crews on Saturday evening as well as Sunday morning. A bonfire and Smores will also be available.
