Grass Island will open at 5:00am on Saturday, April 6th.  Boat trailers will not be allowed in before this time.  Tow vehicles must stay attached to their trailers during the event.

Parents will be allowed to drop off their athletes at Grass Island then must park in one of the available parking lots.

Type of Event: Rowing – Dual Sprint

Finals will be run between the two fastest heat times in varsity events (8+’s, 4+’s and 4x’s). Other categories will be match races.

Regatta Course: The 1,000 meter racecourse in Greenwich Harbor is perfect for spectator viewing. The start line is adjacent to the Hotel Delamar in Greenwich Harbor, and the finish line is just south of the Indian Harbor Yacht Club.

Athletes: We will be providing a heated tent at the launch site for athletes for warm-up and stretching. Athletes must wear (1) a ski hat/hood/baseball cap, (2) long sleeves, and (3) long spandex for the duration of time they are on the water. The dockmaster must check off these three items before allowing a crew to launch. Please remember this so you can race!

Spectators: The best place to view the race will be from the footpath adjacent to Steamboat Road.
