If you're holding back because there are just a few entries, dont!  We are going ahead with the event as planned.  We think the Sin City Erg has so much potential as the premier global LGBTQ+ indoor rowing event.       

   The Global LGBTQ+ Indoor Rowing Event

Welcome Outdoor and Indoor Rowers!  We are expecting 300 – 500 LGBTQ+ rowers, and their family and friends for a packed, one-day event of individual and team erg competitions.  The event is open to everyone, age 13 and older, gay, straight, allies, bisexual, transgender, non binary, men and women.  We will add events for adaptive participants.  Details to follow.

In 2020, we offered one entry fee for the individual events and then team events were free.  This year, we are charging a base participant fee and then separate event entry fees. You can enter as many events as you want.

Every participant gets a free wristband and an event t-shirt, and medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for separate events.  Some events may be combined if there aren't enough entries. 

We want to encourage everyone to participate in both the individual and team erg competitions and for that reason, we will spread them out so that a participant doesn't just finish a 2K and then jump into a team event.  

The Sin City Erg is about inclusion. We want allies and straight teammates to support and compete with their LGBTQ+ teammates.  We also want to provide the most opportunity for competition for the university and juniors who participate.  Take note of the age brackets in the 'Rules & Eligibility' for the team events - yes, a 14 year old can compete with older teammates.  Help the older teams be super competitive by adding your and your friends to be ringers on those teams!
