Directions / Parking

Spectator Viewing: Races will take place from just north of Lincoln Street Bridge to 1st Street Bridge. Spectators will be allowed on both banks of the river.

PLEASE NOTE: 
Parking will be limited and traffic altered between 7 am-12 pm due to the Prairie Fire Half Marathon. List of Road Closures
Saturday AM Boat Trailers will want to exit from Kellogg at the Central Business District Exit. Then head north on Broadway or Main St. Turn left (west) onto 2nd Street, then turn left (south) onto Waco. Turn right (west) onto Douglas (you will need to stay in the right lane), finally turn right (north) onto McLean and park on the street in a designated parking location.

Athletes and Spectators may choose to follow the same path as trailers, but instead of parking on the street, you will need to park on the upper level of the River Vista Parking Garage. Athletes and Spectators from the west may also choose to drive north on Seneca, turning right (east) onto 2nd/1st Street, and then turn into the Advanced Learning Library prior to McLean Blvd. 

 For road closures please visit: https://wichitasports.com/race-map/.  Wichita Police Department officers will be stationed at all major intersections, and volunteers will be in the neighborhoods. In many areas, only one side of the road will be blocked off for a running lane. 

The closest parking lot to the finish line is a paid lot on 1st and Waco.  There are also free lots at 515 N Main and 605 S Wichita which will be between the 1000-1500m marks. Here is a link to a map of parking lots in the downtown area: downtownwichita.org/get-around

River Vista Boathouse: 150 N McLean Blvd The top floor of the parking garage is open to the public prior. Access this area by using the ramp on the North West side of the parking garage.

Trailer Parking:
Trailers will be parked in the North bound lane of McLean between Douglas and 1st Street. These spots are blocked for trailers only

Bus Parking:
Buses are asked to park in the Advanced Learning Library if staying at the regatta site.

Heskett Center: When on WSU campus vehicles must park in lots with yellow, green, or yellow and green striped signage. Lots with red signs are reserved 24/7. Click here for more about campus parking.
