Is the park going to be open on Friday?

  • YES- Turkey Lake will be open on Friday, 1/31, for those who wish to practice or drop off trailers. Traliers may be dropped off between 12:00 PM and 5:30 PM, and practice is open from 3:30 PM-5:15 PM. With that being said, all boats must be off the water by 5:15 PM.

Is there a waiver requirement?

  • YES- all athletes must fill out the NOARA waiver before they will be permitted on the water.

Do I need to buy a parking pass?

  • YES- to enter the park, you must buy a parking pass for your vehicle. This includes ALL VEHICLES: busses, trailers, spectators, athletes, and those who plan on dropping others off.

How far are the middle schoolers racing?

  • All middle school events will be the full course (1500m).

How can I scratch an entry?

  • At this time, no further scratches will be accepted. This will help us post a schedule and heat sheet as soon as possible. If you need to scratch an entry, please talk to us at Registration the morning of the regatta.

When will the schedule be posted?

  • The schedule, heat sheet, and results link will be posted as early as possible. It is our goal to post a tentative schedule by the end of the day on Monday, 1/27. However, the schedule will not be finalized until later this week.

How will medals be awarded?

  • Per flight, not per event.

Who can enter novice events?

  • Any rower that is in their first year of rowing in high school as of August 2024, regardless of grade and previous rowing experience prior to entering high school is considered a novice.
