Cromwell Cup

Eligibility 

Age

Cromwell Cup follows the US Rowing Rules for U17, U19, U23 and masters rowing. Masters events will follow the US rowign age hanidcap.

Coach Athlete Event

Coach athletes may be of any gender combination for this exhibition race. If there are enough entries we will attempt to split them equitably across heats. This event was added at the request of past participants who wanted a chance to coach from the hot seat, to have a chance to row with their athlete, or score bragging rights. 

Gender

Event registration as "Men's" and "Women's" is a limitation of the Regatta Central software and US Rowing. Cromwell Cup is not a US Rowing Regatta. Cromwell Cup welcomes all athletes to compete as their true and authentic self. 

Novice

A novice rower is in their first year of racing at any age. 

Parent Child Event

Registration for the parent child races follows the parent and the child can be of any gender.

 

Lightweight

All athletes rowing lightweight events must weigh in on Sunday between 7AM and 10 AM. Any lighweight athlete who has not weighed in by 10AM will be scratched from thier event.  Weigh in will be at the registration table in the erg room on the second floor of the boat house.  LIghtweigh woman: Max 130lbs, Lightweight men: Max 160lbs.
