This is our THIRD time hosting this regatta.
With the rapid expansion of Coastal Rowing around the world, no doubt due to the fact it WILL be part of the Olympic Games starting in 2028 (Beach Sprints), we have a dedicated group of people in the OARCA Club who are working hard to build this exciting sport in the CRD (Victoria and area), let alone BC.
The boats are extremely stable and no matter how much experience you have in any type of rowing shell, we know you'll be able to have some fun with this event. Anywhere from Novice to World Champions, all athetes are invited.
