The Laddie Cup will race on Orchard Lake, in the Village of Orchard Lake, MI.  The start is at the Northwest end of the lake and boats will finish at the Southeast end.  The coarse is north of Apple Island which provides wind protection.  Spectors will view along the East Shoreline at St. Mary's Preparatory.  St. Mary's is a smoke free campus.

This will be an open bouyed coarse with a floating start.  Buoys will be dropped every 250 meters for a 1,500 m x 90 m course.  Lanes 1-6 are inside the buoys.  Lanes 0 and 7, if needed, are outside the buoys.  All boats should race through the finish line buoys until the horn sounds.
