COXSWAINS' MEETING:

On Zoom the evening prior to the regatta:  Saturday, Oct. 12 at 5:00 pm. Estimated duration 30-40 minutes. Obligatory for coaches, coxswains, and bow persons in uncoxed sculling boats.

MEDALS:

We expect to award gold, silver and bronze for all events.

EVENTS SCHEDULE:

We expect to have three flights. The start times of the three flights are 9 am, 11:15 am, and 1:30 pm.  This schedule should allow boats to get off the docks before we start launching the next flight. We need cooperation from all crews in getting off the docks at launch (tie in on the water), and in getting back to and off the docks after racing. Please be quick and save celebrations for after the boats are in slings.

WE WILL GENERALLY ADHERE TO U.S. ROWING'S 2024 RULES OF ROWING: 2024 Rules of Rowing  It is worth taking some time to peruse that document. For example, it contains detailed information about safety, conduct, penalties, and age brackets. One noteworthy exception for this regatta: We will not enforce item 4-105-1; Coxswains' minimum weight.
