In 2023, the Toledo Rowing Foundation brought back a race to the mighty Maumee.  The last home race took place in 2019 prior to Covid.   

After getting a core group of prople to commit we took the plunge in 2023.   

We re-branded the race to the Glass City Regatta.   

Toledo is often nicknamed the Glass City.    The Metroparks also developed a new park on the river across the street from the Boathouse and named it the Glass City Metropark.   The new regatta name was born.   

In April 2024 the Metroparks became the official owners of the land we call home.  A new name was created.    We are now part of the Glass City Metropark in the International Cove Area.
