2023 National Rowing ChampionshipsRowing Canada Aviron (RCA) has partnered with Maple Bay Rowing Club, with support from Rowing BC, for the second consecutive year to welcome the nation’s rowing community to the traditional ancestral territories of Coast Salish First Nations at the picturesque Quamichan Lake in North Cowichan, British Columbia.

2023 National Rowing Championships Venue

The 2023 National Rowing Championships will take place on Quamichan Lake, North Cowichan, British Columbia, the site of the Rowing Canada Aviron National Training Centre.

Spectators are welcome to view the racing from the Duncan Community Lodge or Art Mann Park.

Click on the "Directions & Parking" tab to find out how to get to the Duncan Community Lodge and where parking is available for athletes, umpires, and volunteers.

Trailer parking has changed from last year. Please call Jon Rose with your estimated arrival time and he will provide details on parking your trailer (250-857-6237).

Please be conscious of the speed limit when driving to the Duncan Community Lodge. The speed limit on Moose Road is 30km/hr.

Please be conscious of the speed limit when driving in the Duncan and North Cowichan communities.  The speed limit is 50km/hr unless otherwise posted and school zones are 30km/hr on school days.

Parking on site at the Duncan Community Lodge is limited.  Please see the Parking Attendant at the entrace to the Lodge for parking instructions.  When parking on Moose Road or Davis Crescent, please be conscious of the community - do not park in a manner that will not allow emergency vehicles to get through, blocks people's driveways, or otherwise impedes the roadway.
