All contestants will launch from Indian Well State Park in Shelton, CT.  The park opens at 6:00 AM on race day and closes at sunset. Crews will launch by wading into the water at a sandy beach. The water will be warm at this time of year. Sanitary facilities, but no showers, are available at the park. Trailers may be parked at the park overnight, but security is not provided. More information about the park is available on the park website: https://portal.ct.gov/DEEP/State-Parks/Parks/Indian-Well-State-Park. Please note that there’s a permanent alcohol ban in place at the park.
