Get ready for your fall regattas and enjoy Maine at our beautiful buoyed course on the Androscoggin River!  This 4.7km marked course is an out and back around a gentle bouyed turn.  Eagles, Ospreys, Heron and Sturgeon will guide you along the way to your scenic finish between the towns of Brunswick and Topsham, Maine.

Awards will be given for 1st place in all divisions and special $50 gift certificates to winners of our overall singles JR, OPEN and MASTERS (adjusted) winners!  

Join the celebration afterwards at The Flight Deck, one of Maine's fine micro breweries and gathering spots!  Make it a Maine weekend by lodging at one of our local motels or camping facilities.

HURRICANE LEE UPDATE 9/8/23:  THE MCRA BOARD AND REGATTA COMMITTEE WILL ASSESS THE TIMING AND CONDITIONS UPON (POSSIBLE) ARRIVAL OF HURRICANE LEE AND WILL MAKE A DECISION ON 9/13/23 WHETHER OR NOT TO CANCEL OR CONTINUE WITH THE REGATTA.  YOU WILL GET AN E-MAIL ON 9/14/23 WITH THE ANNOUNCEMENT WHICH WILL ALSO BE UPDATED ON THIS PAGE. IF THE REGATTA IS CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER, YOUR REGATTA ENTRY FEE WILL BE REFUNDED.

UPDATE 9/13/23:  BECAUSE OF FORECASTED STRONG WINDS AND RAIN, THE COW ISLAND CLASSIC ROWING REGATTA HAS, REGRETFULLY, BEEN CANCELLED.  HAVE A GOOD FALL HEAD RACING SEASON WITH, HOPEFULLY, FAIRER SKIES and CALMER WATERS! FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT HAVE PAID, YOU WILL BE REFUNDED IN FULL.
