Race format:
- Boats will be in the water – bow pointing towards Flower Island
- Crews hold their own boat
- depending on conditions, boat holders to assist (bring your own – limited numbers will be available)
- At starting horn, crews jump into boat and head off
- Depending on conditions – cox & bow pair may be already seated
- Caution required at the start and on course to avoid collisions
- Note – There will be a short (+/-50m) “NO PASSING” zone while entering the channel by Flower Island
