The High Point Autumn Rowing Festival is run entirely by volunteers. You can be part of this exciting event by either joining the committee or by volunteering on regatta day.
The benefits of volunteering are wide-ranging.
The committee is currently looking for new volunteer members. We will meet once a month throughout the year to plan for the next regatta.
Roles
Over 40 people volunteer at the regatta each year to make this such a successful event. Many of our event team return year after year. For the 2018 regatta, we are looking for people to fill the following roles:
- Catering
- Bow numbers
- Boat catchers
- Runners
- Race course installation
- Parking
- Photography
- Timing
Regatta staff will receive:
- The experience of volunteering at a regatta
- Morning lunch, afternoon refreshments.
