Beautiful, 2-park venue surrounding Lake Henderson. The parks (Liberty Park and Wallace Brooks Park) are connected by a portion of the Rails to Trails, which is perfect for athletes or siblings to scooter on. Parks are also connected by a wooden walkway which hovers over the shore of Lake Henderson.
Boats stationed in Liberty Park, and launch from Liberty Park Shores.
Spectators and team tents stationed in Wallace Brooks Park. Spectators have a fantastic side vantage point of the finish line!
Venue is in historic, quaint Downtown Inverness, within minutes' walking distance to several restaurants, including an authentic Italian deli, a coffee shop, a Subway, and locally owned pizza, seafood, and pub restaurants.
