| Breakfast Breakfast will be available starting at 6 a.m. from W.G. Grinders (located across from the parking lot). A variety of muffins, bagels, and beverages will be available for purchase. You can also pre-order your breakfast items and have them ready for pick up at the W.G. Grinders booth across from the parking lot. Click HERE to download the order form. Grinders will provide rowers, their families, and friends with a nutritious boxed lunch on Saturday, October 7. The grinders are filled with generous portions of vegetables, meats, and cheeses and garnished with lettuce and tomato. These sandwiches produce a mouth-watering flavor that sets W.G. Grinders (World’s Greatest Grinders!) apart from all the rest. Teams can purchase food individually from the W.G. Grinders booth or place an order in advance. The order will be boxed and ready for pick up at the W. G. Grinders booth across from the parking lot. The cost is $8/boxed lunch; payment may be made in advance or when the order is picked up. Each lunch includes choice of grinder and beverage along with assorted deli salads, and cookies. Teams may specify a pick-up time.
Assorted salads will include: light bow tie pasta, potato salad, cheddar macaroni, Greek salad, cole slaw, broccoli salad, stimpolini, and pasta salad. Assorted cookies will include chocolate chip, heath bar, macadamia nut, peanut butter, double chocolate caramel crunch, and oatmeal raisin. Please click HERE to download an order form. Dinner We are pleased to offer rowers and their families and friends two dinner options for Friday, October 6. The Spaghetti Warehouse – located in the Strip District just a short drive from the North Shore – will have seatings at 5 p.m., 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. to provide a high-carb dinner for athletes. The cost of the dinner is $11 per person and includes spaghetti with marinara, tomato, or meat sauce; a side salad; bread; and a beverage. The Spaghetti Warehouse will be happy to make accommodations for those who cannot make these seating times. PLENTY OF FREE PARKING IS AVAILABLE. Call Chris at 412-261-6511 to make your reservations. Can’t make it to them? The Spaghetti Warehouse will come to you! A second dinner location will be set up near the parking lot on the North Shore. Dinner will be served from 5-9 p.m. under a tent near the Great Lawn. If you would like to take advantage of this opportunity, please call Chris at 412-261-6511 to order your dinner. The cost will be $11 per person and will include penne pasta with marinara, tomato, or meat sauce; a side salad; bread; and a beverage. The Spaghetti Warehouse will also be on-site during race day to offer a special luncheon meal deal. For just $7 you can pick from the following: 15-layer baked meat lasagna, baked marinara penne, sausage sandwich, or meatball sandwich.
