Directions to the Kanawha River Race Course:
From the North: Travel I-77 South or I-79 South into Charleston. Follow the sighs to I-64 East. As you pass the Capitol Complex on your right, stay in the right lane. It becomes an Exit Only lane for 35th Street. This is Exit 98. Exit and proceed across the river, down to the traffic light. At the light, turn right onto MacCorkle Avenue (heading west). Proceed west to the second traffic light. At the second traffic light, you are at the entrance to the University of Charleston. Turn right into the campus. At the bottom of the entrance ramp, turn right. Follow signs to trailer and spectator parking.
From the West: Travel I-64 East to Exit 58A, Oakwood Road. Follow signs to Route61 South - Marmet. Once on Route 61 South, MacCorkle Avenue, travel approximately 1.5 miles. The University of Charleston is on the left. Turn left into campus. At the bottom of the entrance ramp, turn right. Follow signs to trailer and spectator parking.
From the South: Travel I-77 North (West Virginia Turnpike) to Exit 95 (MacCorkle Avenue, University of Charleston Exit). Follow signs for MacCorkle Avenue West (Route 61 West). On MacCorkle Avenue, travel west just over 3 miles. When you pass the Hospital Complex on the right, the next traffic light will be at the University of Charleston Entrance. Turn right into the campus. At the bottom of the entrance ramp, turn right. Follow signs to trailer and spectator parking.
From the East: Crossing West Virginia on I-68, junction with I-79 South at Morgantown, WV and follow directions from the North (Above). Crossing West Virginia on I-64, junction with I-77 North at Beckley, WV and follow directions from the South (Above).
