The Great Baltimore Burn 2010 Rules and Regulations

 Concept 2 Model D ergs will be used for this event.Unless otherwise listed all events are 2000meters.You may use the damper setting of your choice but the setting must not be changed during the race.

 We will use a final only format.Seeding will be based upon the erg scores submitted at registration. The best time regardless of heat will win the event.

 

Age Restrictions

 Your age will be your age as of race day.If you are trying to qualify for C.R.A.S.H-B as a junior you must be born on or after January 1, 1992 and be enrolled in High School.

 

Lightweight Events

 This year we will hold lightweight events for all categories collegiate, juniors, masters and open.Lightweights are defined as men 165 lbs or less, women 135 lbs or less.

 All lightweights must weigh in at registration. A competitor must be stamped by a weigh-in official.  If you don't have a stamp your result will count in the open division of that event.

 

C.R.A.S.H-B Qualifying Times and Rules

 The Great Baltimore Burn is an official satellite regatta of The C.R.A.S.H.-B. Sprints.

Concept2 provides the airfare for up to four competitors from each of the twenty official satellite regattas of the C.R.A.S.H.-B.s.

In the event that a given regatta has more than four qualifiers, who is selected for the trip is the decision of the satellite regatta organizers.Concept2 has no role in that decision process. All qualified competitors must meet all eligibility requirements.

The interpretation of the rules will be determined solely by the Baltimore Burn race committee. All decisions are final
