News from The Princeton 3-Mile Chase and The Belly of the Carnegie

After 28 years of freshman and novice fall racing here at Princeton we have decided to terminate The Belly of the Carnegie Regatta.  In addition we will be adding freshmen/novice events to The Princeton 3-Mile Chase Regatta.  The freshmen/novice events will NOT require the even boat format as we had at The Belly.As usual, The Chase will be an invitational regatta for collegiate crews and this year we will be using Regatta Central for entry registration and Powerhouse Timing for timing and results.  We ask that you make your entry fees payable by credit card with Regatta Central this year.We are developing a schedule that would allow teams to bring both their varsity and freshmen/novice crews and share boats.  We are encouraging the sharing of boats within your team and, for those who can, the sharing of trailer space.  As you know, we have limited trailer parking space and we need to limit the number of trailers for that weekend.Please make plans to join us on Sunday, October 26^th for the new 2008 edition of The Princeton 3-Mile Chase Regatta.
