Friday Practice is permited on the course. 

Teams provide their own bow numbers. Please get creative with the larger lane assignment numbers

Dogs are welcome at the venue - there will be a Best in Show competition for dogs.

Reminder - races will NOT wait for crews late to the start. Docks will be busy all day. Hotseating is at your descetion. 

NEW IN 2025: RP3 is proud to sponsor the Regatta Warm Up Row Zone on shore for rowers. Want an RP3? Purchase a raffle ticket for $30 to win your very own RP3. Only 110 tickets to be sold. Raffle will be drawn at the regatta. 

The Bethany Medical North Carolina Rowing Championships will be capped at 420 boat entries.  Late entries or entries over the 400 cap will be considered by the Regatta Director. Crews from outside North Carolina are eligible to race at the North Carolina Rowing Championships. There is no limit on the number of events a rower can race, however, events will not be delayed for hotseating. As part of this year's championships, the Race Committee will also be hosting the Lenny Peters Cup: a Ryder Cup style event between USRowing's top 8 scullers and the world's best. More info here

The Regatta Lounge experience includes morning coffee & pastries, a sit down hot lunch, champagne, beer, wine, cocktails, a comfy seat, and protection from the elements all day, whether that be hot sun or rain. DEBUT STATUS FOR YOUTH is defined to those rowers who began racing AFTER the completion of the Fall season. Any rower who has raced in any event before this calendar year is not eligible for Debut events.

NOVICE STATUS FOR COLLEGES is the ACRA definition.  

SCRATCHING ENTRIES: please note that if you scratch a boat entry before the deadline you will automatically be credited for additional boat entries you wish to make or reimbursed the race fee back to your credit card after the event by RegattaCentral. There are no scratch fees for scratching after the deadline. 

All results will be posted online.

Food trucks will be onsite. 

DASH Events will follow a lower price model than regular races, with the exception of the Lenny Peters Cup mixed quads.
