For Membership and Waiver instructions, contact USRowing at members@usrowing.org or this link.
The following are required of each athlete rowing in a USRowing-registered regatta:
- Be an active USRowing Member. Non-US athletes may sign up for the free Basic International membership. If you are rowing unaffiliated, you must have a Championship level membership.
- Have a signed USRowing waiver
- New for 2022, for adult (18 and over) athletes in the US only: Complete the 30-minute SafeSport training online
The membership, waiver, and SafeSport training (if applicable) are renewed annually and must be unexpired as of the date of the regatta.
WAIVERS
All participants, including non-US athletes, must sign the USRowing waiver. No one will be able to participate without a signed waiver. NO Exceptions!
Online waivers can be signed through the USRowing Membership portal. See additional instructions here.
As an alternative to the online waiver, athletes may also provide a signed copy of this waiver form. These must be received no later than a week before race day and can be emailed to HOTL@lakewashingtonrowing.com.
SafeSport Training
Adult athletes (18 and over in 2022) in the US must annually complete the 30-minute SafeSport training titled “Abuse Prevention for Adult Athletes”. This requirement does not apply to non-US athletes. This training can be accessed online from the USRowing Membership portal by logging into your individual profile and clicking on the SafeSport button in the menu bar on the left-hand side.
If you have issues accessing or completing the training, please contact USRowing member support at members@usrowing.org or 609-751-0700. Member Services is available to respond Monday through Friday, 9AM-4:30PM Eastern Time.
