Racecourse Update:
We are monitoring the weeds in our waterway currently.  They have been better than previous years and are reducing.  With the cooler weather and rain in the forecast we fully expect them to be gone and the racecourse to be as currently planned.  We do have an alternative racecourse planned just in case we need to move the startline.  Doing so would require us to add the turn around the island and would result in a racecourse closer to 3.5k than 3k.
At this time we are expecting the planned 3k racecourse.

10.11.24: GivePulse regatta volunteer signup is found here.  Reminder that teams should have 1 volunteer sign up for 1 4-6 hour shift.

10.2.24:  Uploaded the course map.  This year's course reflects the course we ended up with last year.  Roughl 3k from ARC's launch docks to the Gazebo.  It does not include the turn around the island or racing out into the bay.

9.19.24: Update

  • Updated schedule forecast
    • Due to recreational traffic on Lady Bird Lake, we have considered entries for the last few years and made adjustments to the schedule forecast.
    • Reminder:  The official schedule will be produced once registration closes.
  • Added U-17 divisions to men's and women's youth races 4+, 4x, 2x, and 1x.
    • Boats entered into the youth races will be automatically put into the U-17 division if their lineup meets the age requirements.
    • These are divisons within the youth 4+, 4x, 2x, and 1x - not separate events.  The event will happen as scheduled and each division will race for medals.
  • Added both men's and women's U-17 8+ races as a seperate event.
  • Removed Men's and Women's youth 4x+ races
