There are still several participants who have not signed the electronic waiver.  Please go to the waiver section to the left of this message and take care of this before the regatta.

You do not have to be an individual USRowing member to sign the electronic waiver.

 

UPDATE JULY 28, 2008

The Hampton Inn has extended their deadline for booking at the discounted rate.  You now have until Wednesday,
July 30, 2008.

UPDATE JULY 23, 2008

We have added a Mother/Daughter 2X event.

That will do it for the parent/child events for this year.

 

UPDATE JULY 21, 2008

Last year, we started getting requests to serve our fabulous free lunch in two different locations.  One location would be at the Canoe Club, and the other would be at Fairmount RA.  This would make it easier for the local participants, who launch from Boathouse Row, and would have no reason to go to the canoe club other than for lunch and hot-seating.

This year, we are going to try to oblige the locals, as one of our mottos is, "The participant is always right!"  I can't guarantee that we will get the correct number of meals at each location, but, we'll try!  Please don't hold it against us if we guess wrong.  And even if we do guess wrong, we still have beer and pizza after the regatta.

IT IS SUGGESTED THAT EVERYONE BRING SOME DRINKING WATER WITH THEM.  WE WILL HAVE A LIMITED AMOUNT AVAILABLE, BUT WE USUALLY RUN OUT EARLY.

We will post an official hotel in a few days.

I have had a request to add a father/daughter race.  If there is enough interest, I'll try to accommodate.

  One week after Diamond States and two weeks before Masters Nationals,   
which are in Long Beach this year.  (Too far!)

Last chance for pre-nationals carbo-loading.  (If it's not too far.)

 Race all day on the storied Schuylkill River for a single low entry fee.

For rowers entering more than one event:  Since our policy is to allow you to enter multiple events for one price, ($35.00) it is best to allow one person to do all the entries for each club.  This way, each rower will only be charged once.  If individuals enter by themselves for one event,  and are also entered by a coach for another event, they will be charged for each entry.
