New: Late resigtration rules
Late enteries are accepted after the standard regisration deadline at the discretion of the registrar and only to fill empty lanes; no heats will be added to accommodate late entries.  Prescribed late entry fees must accompany late entries.  Before February 20 at 1:00pm, late entries must be submitted online at RegattaCentral.  After this time late entries will only be accepted on-site. 
New for 2023:  We will accept late entries on race days.  Late entries made on race day will follow these rules: 

A. Late registrations must be in lo later than 2 hours prior to the scheduled race time. 
B. Late registrations for the first 2 hours of the race day must be done the day before. 
C. Same day registration will be cut off at 1:00pm 
D. Late regisrtations will be added pending lane availability. 
E. Payments can be made by Square or Check. 

Volunteer Policy

Regattas take a lot of human-power to put on.  Sprint races in particular require a lot of stake boat holders.  Therefore we have adjusted our volunteer policy for Heart of Texas.  Each team needs to provide 1 person for a stake boat shift for each day your team has a race.  Stake boat shifts are usually 2 hours long and can be fulfilled by a parent, a sibling, a friend, or a racer.

1.2.24  Event List is up now - please note that the Event List is just a list of events that we will run and one which day the event is planned for.  The Schedule will not be out until after standard registration closes.  You can review previous year HoT schedules to see what has happened in the past.  However each year is different.  We produce a schedule based on number of entries.  If an event requires heats those run in the morning and the final races run in the afternoon.
