Results email:

Dear Coaches,

Thank you for your patience & willingness to keep the kids racing. Results up to 17a are on Crew Timer as usual.

After flipping the course, (with 17b) Crew Timer was not used on the water and the referees completed placement manually. Here are the results for the 750m races.  OARS Invitational Results (shortened/flipped) course

We will be awarding medals by heat for the races after the course change. We will make arrangements to get those medals to you (either mailing or delivering at the next regatta).

Team Points will be awarded based on the races up to 17a.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Kirsten

Race Day Update:

Because of unsafe conditions at the start, The race officials have made the decision to stop running the full race course.

Here is what we are doing:

  • Reversing the course (starting at the finish line)
  • Floating starts
  • Running a 750 meter race
  • The boats on the water will remain and the officials are directing them to the start in an organized fashion.
  • All new times are updated on the Heat Sheet.

  • We are treating 17a as a complete separate race because they were able to race the full course.  17b, 17c, 17d will be together.

  • Thanks for helping us pivot! We are doing our best to keep kids racing!
