The race venue will be based out of Washington’s Landing - an island on the Allegheny River and the home of the Three Rivers Rowing Association Washington’s Landing Campus. Across the channel is TRRA’s Millvale Campus that will also host several teams during the regatta. The race will be run on the Allegheny River, starting downstream of the 40th Street Bridge with the finish line just upstream of the Ft Duquesne bridge.

All boats will be launching and returning at the Washington’s Landing or Millvale Campus docks. All visiting teams and competitors will row out of the TRRA Washington’s Landing campus unless otherwise arranged with the Regatta Director.

The 2.5 mile (4,100m) course is on the Allegheny River.  Rowers will race downstream, finishing just before Point State Park and the Ft Duquesne Bridge. The finish line will be marked by a tent located on the Pittsburgh side of the river and two large pyramidic buoys.

The start line will be the mooring cell located near the top of Washington’s Landing on the right descending bank of the island.  There will be buoys marking both the starting chute and starting line.

Rowers will pass under 8 bridges while racing along the Allegheny River.
