Henley Island - Getting There
Port Dalhousie and Henley Island are very accessible from major Ontario highways, and are located a short distance from the Queen Elizabeth Way highway (QEW) Niagara. There are three international airports within 90 minutes of Port Dalhousie.
Lester B Pearson International Airport ? Toronto, ON
Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) www.gtaa.com
Exit Lester B Pearson Airport and merge onto Provincial highway 427 S. Merge onto QEW towards Hamilton, and continue on that. Keep left to QEW Niagara. Take Exit 51, Seventh Street/RR-34. Turn right onto Lakeshore Rd W. Turn right onto Henley Island Dr, and follow that onto the Island.

Take Airport Rd W towards Upper James Street. Turn left onto Upper James St, and take it north. Merge onto Lincoln M Alexander Parkway E, and continue on that. Lincoln M Alexander Parkway E becomes Red Hill Valley Parkway N. Merge onto QEW toward Niagara. Take Exit 51, Seventh Street/RR-34. Turn right onto Lakeshore Rd W. Turn right onto Henley Island Dr, and follow that onto the Island.
Buffalo Niagara International Airport ? Cheektowaga NYBuffalo Niagara International Airport (BUF) www.buffaloairport.com
The Buffalo Niagara International Airport in Cheektowaga NY is also nearby and accessible to Henley Island. However, due to VISA requirements that may complicate crossing the USA Canada border, we suggest ONLY American participants and visitors use this airport to travel to Port Dalhousie.
To get to the Island from Buffalo Niagara International, travel W on NY-33/Genesee St. Take a slight left onto NY-33 W. Merge onto I-90 E/New York State Thruway E toward E toward I-290/Niagara Falls. Merge onto I-290 W/Youngmann Expressway toward Niagara Falls. Merge onto I-190 N toward Niagara Falls. I-190 N becomes Queenston-Lewiston Bridge, and crosses into Canada. This becomes Provincial highway 405 W toward Toronto/QEW. Merge onto QEW toward Toronto. Take Exit 48, Martindale Rd. Turn left onto Martindale Rd and travel N. Turn right onto Main St. Turn right onto Henley Island Dr, and follow that onto Henley Island.

Parking
Parking will be available on Henley Island for a charge of $5 CDN per day. We will be charging this fee as of Wednesday, September 1st, 2010 through the duration of the Regatta (Sunday, September 5th, 2010).
