• Paved trails on both sides of the course to watch the race on foot or bicycle

Hosted by the South Niagara Rowing Club on the 4th Saturday in September every year (except 2020!) since 1980, the Head of the Welland is run on the North Course of the Welland International Flatwater Centre. In its 40th year - with partnerships with the Welland International Flatwater Centre and the City of Welland, the Head of the Welland ~ Five Bridges Fall Classic is a must attend event.
