Lake Lanier Olympic Park served as the competition site for the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games rowing and sprint canoe/kayak events. Over the past 25 years, the Lake Lanier Olympic Park has hosted many regional and national rowing competitions including the 1998 and 2001 NCAA Women’s Rowing Championship, the 1999 US Rowing Master’s National Championship, the 1995 US Rowing Nationals, and the ACRA National Championships from 2011 through 2019.

Located on the protected shores of historic Lake Sydney Lanier, the Lake Lanier Olympic Park has a 2000 meter fully bouyed seven lane course. There are spectator stands and room for tents near the finish line.  We are located in Gainesville, GA, only an hour north of Atlanta.
