CIRC 2021 is going ONLINE!

The 2021 edition of CIRC will be run in real time virtually.  Any competitor wirh access to a Concept2 rowing ergometer, a laptop and internet connection will be able to connect to the internet to race. 

CIRC will be connecting racing ergs using HOMERACE by TIME-TEAM. 

What you will need to race in this event:

• Concept2 Rower (ergometer) with a PM3, PM4, or PM5 monitor updated to the latest firmware
• a Windows or MAC computer with CHROME browser installed
• WIFI (internet) connection
• a USB (A to B Cable) to connect the ergometer monitor to your laptop or computer.    

Connection Test

The race system for the LIVE racing weekend will be run by TimeTeam. To confirm that you will be able to access the race system, please visit https://master.regatta-systems.com/homerace and follow the detailed instructions on the manual provided. Please note that passing the test at this stage does not necessarily guarantee the ability to participate on race day, but the result of your test is a very accurate indicator of your ability to do so.

Race Streaming

CIRC will be streamed on the Time-Team Live Race Tracker.  A number of races will be featured in a live show on the CIRC Youtube channel.

Race Location Considerations 

Where ever you decide to race from we ask that you do so safely.  We recommend another person nearby, in a properly spaced (2 metres) from other rowers and a ventilated area.
