Sprints will be held in a combination of a virtual and in-person format.
ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST HAVE A CONCEPT2 LOGBOOK ID. Logbook ID’s must be emailed to [email protected] for participants to be entered into race software. Logbook ID’s can be found on the log.concept2.com site or on your profile page of ErgRace Mobile (it will be listed as Ranking ID).
Below are the rules and regulations for both types of racing.
Rules and Regulations for Virtual participants
We will be using Concept2’s virtual racing platform. Participants after registering on regatta central will need to e-mail their concept2 logbook ID to [email protected] so that they can be added to the race portal. The day before the race, links will be sent out for all participants to have available. On the day of the regatta, participants will log into ErgRace on their mobile phones using their logbook ID. Competitors can choose to log into our zoom link (used for troubleshooting and communicating with the regatta personnel).
Once logged in, participants will be ‘hanging out’ in a ‘waiting room’. This allows the race officials to know that the participants are ready to race. Once it is time to start the race, race officials will move participants from the waiting room into the actual race. Here, the commands sit ready and row will be displayed on your screen to start the races. Once the all races finish and the results are finalized, the results will be posted on row2k, regatta central, and the Shocker Rowing website.

- All virtual participants must have a waiver on file with USRowing.
