Welcome to the 2008 Cromwell Cup! This year's regatta will follow the traditional 1000m sprint racing format. For any event with 5 or more entries, we will run morning heats, followed by afternoon finals. Last year we had over 200 entries from over 30 clubs located in 8 states, ranging from Junior development camps to Veteran masters and everything in between. We look forward to another excellent year of fast racing and great competition, and we hope you'll be joining us!

This year, we took many of your suggestions and have made a number of improvements to the regatta. These include:

1) An optimized schedule to minimize the effect of powerboat interruptions

2) Real time results posted on the web as races finish

3) The addition of a new Jr 4+ and Jr 2x event

4) Improved scheduling to minimize overlap between events and maximizing competitors racing opportunities

A tentative schedule for the FINALS is below. A heat schedule will be posted as soon as possible after registration closes. We anticipate that Women's heats will begin at 7:00 AM and Men's heats will begin around 9:30 AM for events that require heats.
