2019 Ontario Ergometer Championships has a new sponsor!! RegattaSport is teaming up with Hudson Boat Works to provide the special Top Ten shirts. Great new logo for the event again this year!! Brock University is helping with the bright Volunteer Shirts too!!!
ERG SALES UPDATE As of Feb 27, only 4 ergs left for sale! 35 machines are coming in New for the event, and are to be sold at $1250.CAD (price includes HST, duty, brockerage and shipping (Vermont to St. Catharines only). Pickup is immediately following the last race, around 4:00-4:30. Contact Nancy Storrs at [email protected] to confirm your order and to arrange payment. (Etransfer or cheques only, no credit card)
A general schedule is posted, though the exact schedule will be based on the number of entries in each event. Final schedule will be posted both at RegattaCentral, and via emails to coaches and anyone requesting it - once it is finalized. Again the regatta is being helpd in the spacious Ridley College Field House, with 32 racing ergs and a big screen projecting the racing in progress.
This year Masters events will have medals for each of the following age groups: 30-45, 46-59 and 60+, plus a lightweight medal. Age adjustments will be used to rank all for the Top Ten T-Shirts.
LATE ENTRIES will be accepted at the door, if lanes are available, and $30. CASH or cheque payment is made, along with submission of the entry form with waiver signature.
NOTE: Entriy fee this year is raised to $20. per entry, (and now includes the credit card fees and the seat fees ($5.50) which will be passed on to Rowing Canada and RowOntario for all competitiors who race). Payment is required online, in order for entry to be completed.
HIGH SCHOOL ENTRIES: Please remember that you must enter as a high school (or unaffiliated), and not as your club - as this is a HIGH SCHOOL event you are entering... ALSO, please make sure to enter the appropriate event - check your weight in advance, and speak to your coach - if unsure. Every year we have 10-20 rowers who have to change events on race day! (If a HS entry is listed as a club, and not changed by the entry deadline, they will be switched to Unaffiliated by the regatta.)
