Row for the Cure - Seattle

  • Hosted By: Pocock Youth Rowing
  • 2018 Registered Regatta

USRowing:  This is a USRowing registered regatta with USRowing officials. The current USRowing Rules of Boat Racing will apply unless otherwise stated.

Doubling up & Hot-seating: Shells (8+, 4+, 4x) and coxswains may double up across the first flight and second flight.  If you are hot-seating a shell or coxswain please let your dockmaster know when you launch for the first race. While it is not forbidden for athletes to double-up, it is virtually impossible for you to do so given the event order.  And no, we will not rearrange the event list.

Drones: Based on the City of Seattle's policy, drones are not allowed over the race course. (Drone Map Zone.)

Handicaps: RFTC 2018 will use handicaps are patterned after the same system used by Head of the Lake as published by USRowing. This is a change from last year's system based on handicaps published by British Rowing. The cause for change is based on RFTC migration to a timing system consistent with HOTL. RFTC apologizes in advance for any inconvenience in the transition and is prepared to accommodate necessary changes. Thank you for your flexibility and support in improvements to our overall timing system.  You may view RFTC's handicaps here: http://archive.usrowing.org/docs/default-source/masters/mhandchart.pdf?sfvrsn=0
