Venue and Course
The 26th Annual Wye Island Regatta is the only 100% people-powered regatta in the Eastern US. It circumnavigates historic Wye Island, nestled on the eastern shore of the Chesapeake Bay on the protected Wye River. Full circumnavigation for rowers and paddlers is a 13.1 mile course, with over 90% protected and scenic river and wildlife property. We also feature a SUP course of both 6 miles, and, of course, some brave paddlers go the full 13.1 miles, too!
