Directions to the William C. Warren III Boathouse

Rowers and Spectators (without boat trailers)

Boat Trailers  (for those trailing boats)

From the East:

• Travel west toward Rochester on the NYS Thruway I-90.
• Exit onto I-490 at Exit 45.
• Travel north / west on I-490.
• Exit at the Bushnell's Basin Exit.
• At the traffic light at the end of the ramp, turn right. onto Route 96 (Pittsford - Victor Road at this point).
• Travel straight through Bushnell Basin's on Route 96
• Continue along, the Erie Canal will become visible on your right.
• Upon crossing Main Street, continuing straight ahead, Pittsford-Victor Road becomes Jefferson Road.   (Route 96 turns right onto Main Street:  Do not follow it).
• You will pass Pittsford Sutherland High School on your right.   Continue straight ahead in a westerly direction.
• Turn right (north) onto Clover Street at the first traffic light after passing the high school.
• The entrance to the boat house is a sharp, hairpin turn, after Gallea's Nursery and after the bridge over the railroad tracks.
• You will have proceeded too far if you cross the Erie Canal.

From the West:

• Travel east toward Rochester on the NYS Thruway I-90.
• Exit onto I-390 at Exit 46.
• Travel north on I-390.
• Exit at the Route 15A / Jefferson Road.
• Turn left (north) at the traffic light at the end of the ramp onto Route 15A.
• Proceed north on Route 15A approximately 1/8 mile to the major intersection of Route 15A and Jefferson Road.   The Holiday Inn will be situated on your right.
• Turn right (east) onto Jefferson Road.
• Continue through multiple traffic lights.
• After crossing Winton Street, you will pass the Locust Hill Country Club on your left.   Continue to the next light.
• Turn left (north) onto Clover Street at the traffic light.
• The entrance to the boat house is a sharp, hairpin turn, after Gallea's Nursery and after the bridge over the railroad tracks.
• You will have proceeded too far if you cross the Erie Canal.

From the East:

• Travel west toward Rochester on the NYS Thruway I-90.
• Exit onto I-490 at Exit 45.
• Travel north / west on I-490.
• At the exchange with I-590, exit onto I-590 proceeding southbound.
• Exit at the Monroe Ave East exit (the second Monroe Ave exit).
• Proceed straight ahead on Monroe Ave, staying in the right-hand lane.
• Pass Friendly's on your right.  Pass Pizza Hut on your right.   Turn right at the intersection (light) of Clover Street.   A Mobil gas station is on the right hand (northwest) corner.
• Proceed through the first traffic light.
• Slow down approaching the Erie Canal.   The Lock is will become apparent on your right.
• The entrance to the boathouse is on your left (Clover is a four lane undivided road at this point.   Be careful.) immediately following the bridge over the Erie Canal.
• You will have traveled too far if you encounter the intersection (light) with Jefferson Road.

From the West

• Travel west toward Rochester on the NYS Thruway I-90.
• Exit onto I-390 at Exit 46
• Travel north / west on I-390.
• At the exchange with I-590, exit onto I-590 proceeding northbound / eastbound.   Do not follow I-390 toward the Rochester Airport.
• Exit at the Monroe Ave exit. 
• Turn/bear right at the end of the ramp.   There is a light.
• Proceed straight ahead on Monroe Ave, staying in the right-hand lane.
