Rent a tent for your team – Deadline February 5th
Tents will be available in a 20’ x 20’ size with an option to have a 20’ X 40’ tent. Tents will only be available until February 5th. After that it will be too late to order a tent. Based on the amount of rain we have had we think having real tents with sides might be a good idea for the weekend.
To order your tent send Beth Anderson an e-mail: [email protected]
Food Trucks:
There will be food trucks at the venue both Saturday and Sunday. Please tell your parents to feel free to use them. We get no $$ from the food trucks, but we believe that they are a positive addition to our event. Please help bring them back by supporting them!

Parents should check with their own team’s head coaches to see if there will be a permit available for them to use. There will be no purchasing of permits on-site. If you do not have a permit before you arrive you need to park in the overflow parking at the Orinda BART station and take the shuttle. Please plan your time accordingly. Permits will be sold to each team for $65 each, (these will be purchased only by each team online). The permits will be for in and out privileges for both Saturday and Sunday and parking in the main lot, by the boat launch. Each team will be able to buy up to 15 permits for the weekend. If some teams need fewer, then they will be allocated to teams who would like to buy more. These will be sent to the main contact at each club one week before the event. Distribution of the permits to your parents, volunteers and coaches will be up to each club. There will be no extra permits. There will be no event permit pick-up or sales of permits on-site. All truck permits and bus permits will be purchased in advance and mailed to the teams, cost will be $100 per truck (this covers our per boat fee of mussel checking) and $100 per Bus for the weekend (this is what the park charges us)
Boat Trailers:
Trailers are welcome to come into the park on Friday anytime (before 6pm) and Saturday morning (from 6am to 8:30am). It is important that you understand space will be at a premium. Please wait until the trailers are all parked before you begin laying out slings. If there are trailers that cannot arrive before 8:30am on Saturday, you need to contact us immediately.
We need to fit all the trailers in the two lots. Please let us know when you will be arriving. This is important, as we have to park many trailers, and all trailers need to be parked before any boats are off-loaded. Space for boats will be tight, so please help us to make it a good experience for everyone.
There will be no parking of boats or trailers in the main lot.

Information for Racing
Coaches & Cox Meeting:
Saturday at noon at the Finish Line
Boat Check for Mussels:
Please remember every boat must be checked for Quagga Muscles before launching. If you launch without a blue tag on your boat you will be disqualified. This puts our site and our ability to run regatta’s here in jeapordy. To pass the muscle inspection, boats must be dry inside and out and need to be clean. We will start checking boats at 8:00 Saturday morning. That is the earliest we can unload trailers as well. Remember if your boats don’t pass the inspection, you can’t launch. So, please come prepared, with towels, etc…
Starting Line:
We will use a starting platform for the races to facilitate starting. This will require your crews to be able to back into a stake boat and to scull. Please help us with this. Please teach your crews to listen to the starter. We will do our best to have a fair and calm start.
Bow Numbers:
Please use Bow Numbers for your lanes, it will make it easier for our finish line. We will be checking bow numbers prior to launch. This helps our finish line record accurate times, please help us with this.
Lightweight Weigh-ins:
There will be no Weigh-ins at Faultline. We trust each coach to be fair and honest with their lightweight crews.
