The Christmas Regatta is held in Long Beach Marine Stadium, site of the 1932 Olympic rowing events and a protected state historic landmark.  This course provides an idyllic year-round training and racing site that often hosts Olympic hopefuls for their winter training and which has been an incubator for many national team rowers.  

Temperatures and wind conditions are typically mild every morning, with wind often picking up in the late afternoon.  Morning low temperatures average 48-50F and daytime highs are 68-70F.
