In a previous email I understated the amount of time it typically takes to get to the venue from downtown Oakland.
I said 15 minutes, which was true for my trip (early on a Sunday morning), but I'm told 30 minutes is more typical.

San Pablo Reservoir is a fantastic new venue being developed by Oakland Strokes. It presents some challenges for
parking and for organizations coming from out of state and fresh water rowing venues because your boats must be
completely dry both inside and out before launching on the lake. The East Bay Municipal Utility District is concerned
about potential quagga and zebra mussel infestation. Boats coming from salt water environments are not a cause for
concern, but they must be dry as well. More info on the boat treatment regime as it becomes available.
