The Sheraton Downtown Iowa City (http://www.sheratoniowacity.com/) is offering their "Partner Rate" of $119 for the night of January 31st to our participants on a first come first serve basis. The hotel is about two blocks east of the race venue. Reservations can be made by phoning Group Reservations directly and speaking with either Jessica McGlynn (319-248-4415) or Braulio Ortiz (319-248-4424). Parking at the hotel is $11 per night.
There is at least one other hotel and there are a couple bed and breakfasts in or near downtown Iowa City, which is within easy walking distance of the race venue. Within a Short Drive of the Race Venue:
There are many more hotels and bed and breakfasts available in the Iowa City/ Coralville/ North Liberty area. (Coralville is the city adjoining Iowa City to the west. North Liberty adjoins Coralville to the north.) Hotels in these locations may be cheaper than hotels in downtown Iowa City, and would not be more than perhaps a 10-20 minute drive from the race location.
