NEW MORNING TRAFFIC PATTERN:

 

Last year we had a serious issue with traffic back up at our Entrance Gate.  We are very committed to reducing this problem this year and have taken a number of mitigating steps which include:

·        Implementing multiple lanes for paying admissions that will not impede traffic,

·        Making Exchange Street a one-way street allowing two lanes of traffic to proceed towards the park,

·        Improving access into our major parking area so that vehicles will not be impacted by wet, muddy conditions,

·        Offering vehicles the ability to prepay for parking through EventBrite:

·        Having policeman directing traffic at 4 major intersections,

·        Increasing the number of people directing traffic,

·        Pre-assigning Booster Team tent spaces to reduce the early morning “gold rush”,

·        Issuing parking passes to Staff and Volunteers

What can you do to ease congestion at the Entrance Gate?

·        Carpool – minimize the number of single car vehicles and vehicles just dropping off rowers,

·        Instruct your buses and trailers to enter the park via Pleasant Street,

·        Watch for and follow the staff and traffic signs directing traffic,

·        Prepay for Standard or Premium Parking: https://nhchampsregatta.eventbrite.com/.  Be sure to bring your receipt and exchange it for a colored parking pass at the gate.

·        Vehicles with rowers only (no spectators) can get a parking receipt in advance to be exchanged for a Green (Standard) parking pass at the gate via: https://nhchampsregatta.eventbrite.com/.

MEDALS FOR VETERANS AND MASTERS SINGLES:

We have added some subcategories for medals to the Men's Veterans, Men's Masters, Women's Veterans, and Women's Masters singles races. Please see RULES & REGULATIONS for more information.

TENT SPACES AND TEAM BOOSTER (UTILITY) TRAILERS: 

Teams are allowed 1 tent space free.  The standard size for team tents is 10X20 ft.  Please register for it when registering for the regatta.  For more tent space, click on the following link to purchase extra tent space:  https://nhchampsregatta.eventbrite.com/.

Passes for team booster trailers must be purchased.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:

As long as your ATHLETES have standing waivers online with US Rowing, NO PRINTED WAIVERS ARE REQUIRED!!

RULES & REGULATIONS have been updated. The cancellation policy for the regatta has been posted here, as well.

NCAA rules prohibit Junior rowers from entering Open events.

We will again have separate launch/ recovery docks for singles and doubles.  Please see the Site Map under VENUE for the location of the singles & doubles launch and recovery dock.


MEMORIAL FIELD AND THE REGATTA SITE WILL BE CLOSED ON SATURDAY, OCTOBER 12TH
Memorial Field will be a busy place on Saturday for Regatta Set-up, therefore, the park will be closed.
No launching will be permitted at any time on Saturday. Trailers and boats may be dropped off after 3:00 pm. Team tents may be set up between 3:00 and 5:00 pm.

Please remember, no team tents are allowed along the river or in the trailer parking area.
All tents must be up on the plateau area near the Results Boards.

Locating all the tents together make it fun for everyone and encourages inter-team socializing.
