THE ENTRY DEADLINE IS MONDAY, APRIL 23, 2007

Rotating Venue:  At the 2006 MACRA regatta the member coaches voted to move the MACRA to Grand Rapids, MI. In 2008 the MACRA will return to Athens, OH. Future MACRA sites will be selected at the annual MACRA member coaches meeting. The event will be held annually on the 1^stSaturday of May.

Eligibility: Members chools as well as guests are invited to attend the 2007 MACRA Regatta.The Grand Valley State University along with Michigan State University Rowing Club's will be co-hosting this event. Heats will start promptly at 8:00am

All competitors must be eligible to compete at the SIRA, Dad Vail and/or ECAC level. Please refer to their rules of athlete eligibility.

MACRA Membership:

To maintain and/or petition for membership you must compete in this event two years in a row. Petitions for membership should be forwarded and in the hands of the MACRA Organizing Committee two weeks prior to the regatta. To become a member school you must participate in the MACRA for 2 years in a row and petition for membership for inclusion. To be considered for membership you must row in the varsity eight event and emphasize eight oared crews. Not rowing in the varsity eight is the equivalent of not attending the regatta.

Entries:  Entry Fees are $8.00 per/person – member schools and $12.00 per person for non-member schools. There is a cap on entry fees of $300.00 for member schools. There is no cap on non-member schools.There is a strict 2 event limit per athlete, excluding coxswains. No races will be postponed for hot seating. A$30.00 MACRA membership fee is also due and should be submitted in addition to your entry. This check should be made out to the MACRA and sent to the LOC.This fee was voted on by the membership.
