RRA 25K Hudson River Challenge
- Hosted By: Rockland Rowing Association, Inc.
It started as a dare from the River Rowing Association Directors to their members-who could row from the Tappan Zee Bridge to the George Washington Bridge and how fast could they do it? Undaunted, die-hard RRA members set out in search of the answer and a race was born-the Hudson River Challenge! The challenge is navigating the unpredictable water and tidal currents of the mighty Hudson River. Your reward? Testing your strength, stamina and mental grit alongside other like minded, hard-core rowers and paddlers piloting that same water- all set against the beautiful, soaring cliffs of the palisades. This year will be our Fourth Annual Hudson River Challenge. Join us on SEPTEMBER 8th in the early morning as we depart from Nyack's Marina (just past the Tappan Zee Bridge) and celebrate at the finish- the Englewood Boat Basin (just before the George Washington Bridge).
