The 2012 Desert Sprints will celebrate it eleventh anniversary, making it the oldest boating event on Tempe Town Lake, as well as the oldest and the largest rowing event in the State of Arizona. The Sprints have grown from a local 'mom and pop' event in the early days, to a regular stop on the regatta calendar of many of the top Junior and Masters programs in the southwestern United States.

For the first time the 2012 Desert Sprints will have Adaptive Events (1x and 2x). We are hoping to draw out of town competition for our very committed and growing group of adaptive rowers.
