The Grand River Challenge has been hosted as an informal Head Race on the Grand River for the past 10 years.   In 2011, the Grand Rapids Rowing Association will be expanding this local race to include competitive clubs, schools, colleges, master and open rowers from the Midwest region.   For 2011, the race launch and headquarters will take place from Riverside Park.   See maps in the venue section for the head race course and location for the regatta site.
