Rowers will launch from the beach at Fort Hardy Park. The green alongside the water is to be used for rigging. There is also a big field next to the parking lot for trailers. Parents and spectators should park in the designated area, and not in the athlete's lot.

Revolutionary War re-enactors will begin things by firing a volley of musket balls across the starting line.
If you are looking for something fun to do during the day - after the racing - please check out the local historical sites, the fun corn maze, great Saratoga Apple Orchard, among the many fun places to see.
For those parents looking for a unique opportunity to watch their kids race, please check out this website: http://www.champlaincanaltours.com/
The little boat halfway down the page will be giving rides to parents, coaches, and spectators for $6 per person. The boat will 'park' itself on the turn-around-point and allow you all to video or take great pictures of your athletes during the race. The boat will head out immediately before each race to get its passengers this great birds-eye view.
