Hello everyone-

My name is Matt Vanneman from Riverside Boat Club, and I'm writing to welcome you all to the 2009 Cromwell Cup! This year we hit our maximum entry cap, which is another new record for us.We are anticipating some fantastic racing and a lot of fun for everyone. A few things to do to prepare for racing:

(1) The regatta packet is attached (Cromwell Cup 2009 REGATTA PACKET.doc.) Please read it thoroughly, as it contains a lot of important information about safety, racing, parking, and all that good stuff. We've included a series of new maps to further clarify the Riverside 1000m course.

(2) ALL athletes must sign the Riverside waiver. The waiver is available on RegattaCentral (Under the "waiver" section) or directly through the Riverside website.Athletes who do not sign the waiver will not be permitted to launch. Ifyou have any questions about the waiver, please e-mail me.

(3)We anticipate 500m Dash heats will start at 7 AM. Women's heats will start shortly thereafter and Men's heats will start around 9:30ish. I'm  working to produce a preliminary heat sheet for distribution on Thursday, and a final heat sheet to be released on Friday.

(4) In terms of crews bringing trailers, the list of crews I have as bringing trailers is the following:

Trailering crews will be receiving a separate e-mail. If you think you are bringing a trailer and you are not on this list, it is crucial that you e-mail me immediately.Trailer space is going to be at a premium this year, and is going to require a lot of advanced planning on our part. Therefore, you must e-mail me if you are bringing a trailer.
