60 second time limit on the dock. Dockmaster will impose penalties for excessive time on the dock.

The 6th Annual Lift Bridge Regatta held in the historic Village of Fairport will be run west to east. The races will start at the flood gates just NE of I-490 and finish at the Lift Bridge in Fairport. Generally speaking there will be a tail/crosswind and a tail current.

NEW RULE- no passing under any of the bridge

The Fairport Crew Boathouse is roughly 2/3 through the race. Launching and Docking will be done at the FCC docks. The boathouse is located on a portion of Perinton Park which extends from 2/3 through the race through the finish at the Lift Bridge in Fairport.

Please keep your dogs at home, they will have a better time there.

Novice rowers will compete on a shortened course.

Races must have at least 3 boats competing in order to be awarded a medal.

Medals will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers.

The Fairport Village Merchants Association will be hosting "Rock the Regatta" on Saturday evening Sept. 19 in the Fairport Village in the Box Factory lot.  Time is 5-8 PM.  All rowers and parents are invited.  Wear your team gear and join us for live music under the tent featuring a local band 5L5.  There will be several food vendors featuring clams, burgers, veggie burgers, hot dogs, sausage and lot of cold drinks.  There is NO charge for admission to this event.  Meet your competition and welcome to Fairport.
